With a few essential design tweaks, Logitech has actually produced a reasonable living-room computing device with its Couch Mouse M515. The sealed-in sensor will remain devoid of obstructing dust and hair, as well as grasp discovery modern technology gives insurance versus unplanned clicks. For $50, the M515 might feel like a deluxe product compared with even more cost-effective wireless computer mice, but it’s also a less costly alternative than some higher-end media computer mice. We advise it to living-room-computing enthusiasts that don’t already have a reliable input device. The Sofa Computer mouse M515 is smaller than a conventional desktop computer mouse, however a little larger than a normal laptop mouse.
It also enables some cool features on that mouse, not accessible otherwise. But there are still problems. I wanted to buy a Logitech G710+ mechanical keyboard, which necessitated using Logitech Gaming Software (LGS) to access the extra keys. So, I switched it with the Logitech Anywhere Mouse I got for my laptop. Then, the one I switched to my desktop stopped working about 4-5 days after I upgraded my Mac to Yosemite. The pointer will move around the screen, but it doesn't click on anything. Logitech M585 Multi-Device Wireless Mouse – Control and Move Text/Images/Files Between 2 Windows and Apple Mac Computers and Laptops with Bluetooth. With Logitech Presentation Software Compatible with OS: Windows 7 and up, Mac Yosemite 10.10 and up Compatible Presentation Software: Powerpoint 2003 &. The new Logitech G Pro Gaming Mouse is an update for its two-year-old predecessor, with the biggest improvement being accepted by Logitech’s flagship Logitech HERO.
That’s probably a sensible layout choice by Logitech, in that a full-size mouse could really feel cumbersome in the living room, but a smaller design might be easily shed. A cordless mouse, the Couch Mouse M515 is also a participant of Logitech’s Unified Tool household, which lets you make use of numerous gadgets from a solitary Micro-USB cordless receiver. Logitech uses a number of Unified keyboards that could likewise service the very same adapter made use of by the Couch Mouse, but none are small adequate to certify as living-room key-boards. Even if there are no obvious other items that would certainly come with the Couch Mouse as well as its Unified receiver, you will likely value that the receiver is so tiny that it basically disappears into many USB ports.
Mac os sierra download windows 10. The characteristic feature of the Couch Mouse lies in its underside. Unlike most mice that make use of an optical sensor to track your motion, the Sofa Mouse has no opening for the sensing unit to shine through. Rather, the plastic covers the sensing unit to shut out dust, pet hair, crumbs, and other living-room fragments that can become lodged inside the computer mouse and also disrupt the sensor’s precision. The advantages to such a style are clear, yet Logitech has actually also resolved the downsides, developing the plastic covering over the sensor as if scrolling is as smooth as with a conventional mouse. Logitech does advise making use of a mouse pad if you plan to use the Couch Mouse on a shiny surface area, yet we had no problems using it on a wooden work desk with a shiny polyurethane finish. I'm not sure I understand why anyone would use the LCC. Refx nexus 2.4.1 update with full cracking kit.

Unfortunately Logitech's newest mice are not fully recognized by the available third-party mouse software such as SteerMouse or with USB OverDrive the functionality is limited.
Consequently those of us using the VX Nano or new Anywhere VX mice are sort of stuck with LCC. Even then LCC might be more tolerable if it provided all of the configuration options that the Windows version does.

I use a Logitech bluetooth mouse. I never installed the driver software. It works fine without it. When I upgraded from Leopard to Snow Leopard, I had to re-discover the mouse to make the connection automatic after a reboot.

I had so many issues with Logitech mouse software about 4 years ago that I will never, ever use it again. It trashed my machine and took me many hours and reboots to remove completely.
Drop $20 on USB Overdrive and you can customize your Logitech mouse to your heart's content. Yes it's annoying to spend $20 on USB drivers but it's worth it. I love Logitech mice but hate Logitech software & customer service. What else am I going to do?

I am still using 2.4 on my Snow Leopard machine, I only have a keyboard as I use a M$ Trackball Explorer on it.
I see no need to update as the current version works fine for what I want it to do.

My problem on LCC 3.2 was double characters when typing. Impossible to use. Went back to 3.1

Easiest fix: install USB Overdrive or SteerMouse.
LCC sucks. Don't waste your time with that junk.

I am all for using USB Overdrive in place of LCC. While the LCC interface and feature set is nice, it has proven to be extremely buggy over the years. And it's not the same old bugs. Each new version seems to introduce another one.
However, USB Overdrive is not free and I don't think that people who just shelled out hard-earned money for a fancy mouse should have to pay extra for drivers that work right.
Logitech should just license USB Overdrive and ship that as the Mac drivers for their mice, because LCC seems like it will never be 'fixed.' They've had years to get it right, and just can't do it.
New apps in mac os mojave. An even better solution would be if Apple's Mouse prefpane in System Preferences would allow configuration of multi-button mice. Seriously, in 2010, that seems like something we should just expect from a modern OS. Now if you buy a Apple-branded mouse, the Mouse prefpane suddenly *does* get all the configuration options you could ever want. I guess giving us all those options with a $5 off-the-shelf USB mouse would cut into Apple's peripheral sales.

I think I'm glad I didn't update to 3.2 :)
3.1 works fine with me, I need it to make the tilt into a middle click since the middle click is much too stiff. I haven't had any issues with 3.1, though I did have some trouble with one of the 2.x versions with World of Warcraft.

You want a permanent fix? Get Steermouse. I have had nothing but varied luck with different versions of LCC going back years. Steermouse has always done me right AND has more ways to customize your buttons.

Well I have SL and LCC and have not had a single problem with it so far!
Yes, the interface is really chunky and I would rather have it integrated into the OS but.it works for me very well.
Has a lot of possibilities for every button too.
Oh, just one thing: Profiles don't work.

LCC 3.2 also has issues with ddoouubbllee cchhaarraacctteerrss, at least for some keyboards: not a trivial thing (it makes the keyboard practically unusable), so one could have expected that they released a 3.2.1 update as soon as possible.
Instead, nothing, zero, nada de nada, no update.
Not good for a Swiss company, which should value precision above all.
P.S.: . And also still no renewed Mac OS X QuickCam software for their webcams.

I used the LCC back in the days of OSX 10.2 and 10.3 and also found it to be buggy and unreliable. New versions back then introduced new bugs and incompatibility with the latest OS releases. I was really glad when I realised I could remove LCC and just use the native drivers on 10.4 (ie extra mouse buttons for expose).
Sad to hear they still can't get it right.

Another vote for SteerMouse. IMHO, the Logitech mouse hardware is the best and conversely, the Logitech mouse software is the worst.
SteerMouse works flawlessly on all my macs, including a PowerBook, Macbook, MacBook Pro, Mac Mini (both intel and pre-intel) and a G5. I've used it for 3 different Logitech mice, a Microsoft bluetooth mouse, and even the Apple Magic Mouse.

I long stopped using Logitech drivers as i had so many problems on various client systems.
Real bummer as IT bought 50 Logitech mouses everyone installed the drivers themselves and the problems began.
I use USBOverdrive and it really has never failed me with loads of different devices.

Well, 3.2 finally fixed things for my VX Revolution. Before, I was unable to see the General Tab in the LCC. It would flash up and disappear. I had complained to Logitech for over a year.
And their support truly sucks. For example, it is impossible to use their support pages because there is no option to log in with an existing account!
